At Svultanuten you will find "Suldalstunga", which is our unique version of "Trolltunga". The tour is also shorter and less visited than the popular tourist attraction in Hardanger. The Svultanuten is located at Napen, just below Svultanuten, between Sandsa and Nedre Moen.
At the top of Hellandsnuten you will get a fantastic view over the five fjords on good days, and on clear days you can see all the way to Stavanger! The trip is demanding, but great visibility and a little lunch at the top makes you pay off for the effort. More information about the trip can be found under "Hiking".
The small cabin on an islet in Lovrafjorden is perhaps one of the most photographed stadiums in the municipality. Surely Kven couldn't imagine a weekend here? The cabin finds one when one bunks land RV 13 between Erfjord and Sand, close to the detour towards Jelsa, Sandsfjord bridge and the Ropeid peninsula.
The top of Grytenuten on the Ropeid peninsula provides fantastic views of the last landscape and the islands, and the trip is just as beautiful summer as winter. At the top, you will also find binoculars so that you can explore the view closer. The trip can be combined with a visit to the beautiful fjord villages of Marvik and Hebnes, and maybe also a trip to the shop in Vatlandsvåg?
In Suldalsheiane, along Blåsjøvegen from Gullingen to Blåsjø you will find this beautiful pool that has become a popular Instagram spot and swimming spot. You will find the town on the left side of the road when you are on your way up to Blåsjø, between the parking lot at Øvre Moen and the tunnel up to Oddatjøndammen. The temperature in the lake is often equivalent to what at its best can be called "fresh", so here it is just to grit your teeth and smile at the camera!
