Jelsa has for many hundreds of years been a trading post in the Ryfylke fjords, and is today considered the best-preserved beach town in Ryfylke.
At Jelsa you can enjoy fjord life, visit Jelsa church, the school museum and enjoy great nature experiences. In the area around Jelsa, you will find walks with great views of the fjord landscape. They also have their own day trip cabin!

Well organised: The trip to the day trip cabin at Jelsa is easily accessible. Here the path goes on a flat and wide path, which is asphalted or gravel. There is also separate access for wheelchair users.
