Stranddalen Turisthytte - Perla in Ryfylkeheiane

Stranddalen is the most popular tourist cabin in the area, often referred to as the 'Pearl in Ryfylkeheiane.' During the summer season, the cabin is staffed by a friendly host who welcomes visitors and serves delicious home-cooked meals based on local ingredients. Stranddalen also has a license to sell alcohol.

The trip to Stranddalen starts from Øvre Moen in the Gullingen area, leading straight up steep terrain before flattening out as you approach the cabin. Alternatively, you can start the trip from Kvilldal for a more even terrain experience.

The cabin offers a total of 12 beds, in addition to a loft. The journey to Stranddalen can be combined with various child-friendly and more demanding trips in Ryfylkeheiane, fishing in lakes, and swimming in the fresh mountain air.
